25-stone Gorilla makes friend with a “TINY creature” size of his Thumb, What is this?
An enormous gorilla weighing 25 stone strikes an odd connection with a tiny bushbaby – so small that it is smaller than the gorilla’s thumb.
Bobo, a gorilla in need of rescue, is captured in adorable images cradling his new little pal and peering at him with curiosity in adorable photos.
Following their touching bond, the ‘fair and gentle’ Western lowland gorilla even allowed the little bush baby to crawl around his body. In Mefou Primate Sanctuary, Cameroon, photographer Alex Benitez obtained these images.

In Cameroon, Ape Action Africa is home to around 300 rescued primates, such as gorillas, chimpanzees, and monkeys. When Bobo, a 2-year-old western lowland gorilla, arrived at the refuge in 1994 as his mother had been killed by poachers.

According to her, “the bush baby showed no fear of Bobo, wandering around his body and spending time in an open grassy area before returning to Bobo.”
#4. In no time, Bobo’s new acquaintance had attracted the attention of the other gorillas, including 3 females, 3 young males, and 1 adult male.
Robert became very possessive of his little companion, and he kept the rest of the gang at a distance from it.
#5. While his group mates, including his favorite Avishag, were curious, Bobo kept them at a distance, making sure that no one bothered his new friend, according to the sanctuary.
As soon as Bobo’s arms were free, the bush baby hopped off to investigate the grass nearby and then returned.
