Squirrels are one of the most adorable creatures you will ever meet. They are our furry friends with faces that melt our hearts. Most of us get the opportunity to observe these animals because they visit our gardens and even our houses on a daily basis.
Ludwig C. Timm spotted a few twigs outside his bathroom window. Little did he know that in a few months these twigs were going to be transformed into a lovely home.
This all took place a few months ago when Timm accidentally looked out his bathroom window and noticed a family of squirrels building a nest on his windowsill.
He was fascinated by what he saw, especially because he was a German wildlife photographer. To Timm, this was like a gift from God himself. At the very beginning, there were only a few small twigs lying on the windowsill.
Timm assumed that the wind had blown the twigs there. It was afterward that he noticed the squirrels building. The tiny creatures were hard at work. This was also a great opportunity for Timm to get a good look at the interesting life of a squirrel. So he decided to film them going about their daily lives, hoping to capture some beautiful moments.
The spot that the squirrels chose to construct their nest was ideal because it offered Timm a great view of their nest. Timm was even able to watch the baby squirrels grow up.
He documented the squirrel family for months and was finally able to capture the beautiful moment he had been waiting for. Timm saw the family of three squirrels having a nap while cuddling each other lovingly.
It was a sight for sore eyes and to think all this took place right next to his window. Timm considers himself lucky for being able to capture this special moment.
“Normally they’re inside the nest, but it was hot that day, so they slept where I could see them,” he said. This picture is definitely one of a kind.
