2 Deer Stuck in Fence Untangled by Farmers

Sometimes it’s good that there are people nearby who can help the animals when they can’t do it themselves. That was the case for these two men, who saw two deer that looked like they were fighting.

But as the men got closer, they realized that it wasn’t about survival by fighting each other at all. They were stuck.

Deer are some of the most beautiful animals I know. Late summer evenings you may be lucky enough to see these beautiful creatures roaming the meadows and I am always struck by how beautiful they are.

But sometimes these animals need human help to survive, at least in extreme cases.

These two men experienced this when they saw two deer fighting at a fence.

Stuck in each other’s horns

But the men quickly realized that the animals were not fighting each other with their large horns. As they got closer, they realized that they were stuck together.

The horns had gotten stuck and at the same time the rope-like string of the fence had also gotten tangled.

The men realized that they could not just stand and watch. At the same time, they knew the dangers of approaching, as their horns could easily injure them.

But the safety of the animals was important – and they chose to act.

The poor animals, of course, didn’t realize that the men were only there to help.

As soon as they approached, their desperate struggle to get free continued – but nothing stopped the two animal lovers.

Saved the deer

Using a large tool that looked like a bolt cutter, they began the rescue operation. After a while, the first deer got free, but the second one had a hard time. The rope from the fence had kept it from getting anywhere and it struggled wildly to get away from the strange creatures that were humans.

Finally, the men managed to catch the deer and held it by the horns to make it easier to untie the rope.

Real animal heroes

They succeeded – and the deer was finally able to return to the wild.

If it weren’t for these two heroes, we don’t know how this would have ended. But luckily, there are real animal heroes who want the animals well.
