Mama Bear refuses to Abandon her beloved Cubs, helps them to climb Fence

An adorable video out of Los Angeles shows a mama bear looking out for her cub by grabbing the animal with her teeth and pulling the struggling baby over a fence.

The incident happened in Monrovia, a neighborhood in northern Los Angeles, on a road near Monrovia Canyon Park around 1pm on June 12.

The 10-second clip was posted by a user named Lisette and shows the animals engaged in a playful interaction as they attempted to scale the fence.

The mama lifts her baby several feet into the air as he swings from side to side before hitting the wooden fence and begins to make the journey to the other side.

The cute clip was posted Friday and has already amassed more than 15,000 views on the social-media platform.

‘Just another day in Monrovia, CA,’ Lissette captioned the video.  The mama bear at one point sits atop the fence with half her body on one side and the other half attempting to pull the cub over.

The bigger bear grabs the cub by his mane lifting him directly into the air like a claw machine before attempting to swing him over the structure.  Dozens of users left comments swooning over the unbearably cute video while others weighed in on the young bear seemingly being unhelpful with his mom.

‘C’mon mama bear! Bigger swing next time to help him over,’ one person shared. ‘She didn’t even get his scruff, just pulled him by the scalp,’ another added. The woman who took the video told KTLA the baby bear eventually made it over the fence with its mom.

The sighting in Arcadia came just weeks after residents of Sierra Madre complained by the uptick in bear-related incidents

In one of the most recent attacks, a homeowner and his dog were hurt by a mother bear who was with her cub.

‘It’s more than a nuisance,’ said former Sierra Madre mayor Glenn Lambdin in an interview with KTLA.

‘And it has already gone into the danger zones. I think we’re sitting on a time bomb that’s going to explode and we don’t know when,’ Lambdin said.
