While we’re counting down the hours until Christmas morning (half for the presents, half for the food), some lucky animals at South Korea’s Everland amusement park have been treated to Christmas celebrations a few days early.
As well as a Christmas tree and a visit from zookeepers dressed as Santa, the meerkats and penguins were given their presents early – and in the true spirit of Christmas, some extra treats to feast on.
Look at these penguins enjoying a Christmas dinner. Fish, not turkey.
This meerkat seems a bit skeptical, but we’re sure he’ll get into the festive mood soon enough.
Shout out to the meerkat in the back, who is all of us after all those mince pies.
While this meerkat is pondering the true meaning of Christmas.
All we want for Christmas is a meerkat, tbh.
